What ID do I need to hire camping equipment?
We need to sight a valid drivers license or passport for identification. For international customers, a passport is required. We will also ask you to sign our Rental Agreement before the equipemnt can be taken.
How do I book equipment for hire?
We advise that equipment be booked as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Bookings can be made by emailing bookings@adelaidecampinghire.com.au or calling us on 0473 250 747. A deposit is required to secure the booking.
Why the Security Bond?
The Security Bond covers Adelaide Camping Hire against any possible equipment damage or loss, or for goods that are returned in an (unreasonably) dirty condition. We reserve the right to deduct such costs from the Security Bond; but the Hiree will be informed of any additional charges. The Security Bond will be returned within five working days from when the equipment was returned if there are no additional costs.
How do I make payments?
Payment can be made by cash or direct deposit.
I haven’t pitched a tent before. How do I…?
Easily done! We provide step-by-step instruction sheets with all tents, and most other items. No special skills are required.
What if I have a problem with the equipment?
In the slight chance that anything is wrong with the camping equipment, we ask that the Hiree contact us to let us know what the problem is. We will then advise on any corrective action that may need to be taken. When you pick up the equipment from us we make sure that all items are clean and in good working order. We also give detailed instructions on how to set up each item of equipment.
Can I arrange for hire equipment to be delivered or picked up?
Yes, we do offer a delivery service, but in most cases you will need to pick up the equipment from our Adelaide location. Our delivery (or pick up) charges are available on request.
